As a married couple, we know how powerful this commitment truly is. At our own wedding, we held tightly to Ecclesiastes 4:12— “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

That truth has been a foundation in our marriage and is at the heart of what we do. We believe your wedding is more than a beautiful celebration—it's a covenant, a reflection of God’s love, and the beginning of your forever story.

Our Love Story
What started in a high school study hall back in 2013 has grown into the sweetest adventure of our lives.

We met as teenagers—just two kids trying to pass the time in study hall. Friendship came first (with a few mixed signals along the way), then best-friendship, and finally, I (Kaleigh) laid down an ultimatum that changed everything. Adam got the hint, asked me to be his girlfriend on July 9, 2014—and the rest is history.
​
After six years of dating, we got married on May 22, 2020 in the middle of a global pandemic (talk about not ideal). BUT we made the best of it and our first wedding was tiny and intimate, filled with quiet, sacred moments that helped us focus on what really mattered—each other. One year later, we celebrated again with all the joy and dancing and people we originally dreamed of.
We always say our marriage is double-knotted—and it’s one of our favorite parts of our story.

We started Van Dam Visuals in college before we were even married, with a shared dream of turning our passions in photography and videography into a way to serve couples side by side. It officially came to life the summer after we tied the knot, and now—nearly five years and so many beautiful weddings later—we’re still in awe that this is what we get to do together.

These days, our home is full of golden retriever cuddles, baby giggles from our daughter Lillie, and daydreams about our next adventure.
